Just Keep Swimming

Because of the nature of Michael's job, being a contracted well site geologist and all, its not like he will be working in one specific spot forever. His job site will change quite often, ranging from Montana to North Dakota so it is not like we can actually move to a town close to his work, because his work changes. This means we can move anywhere from Montana to Colorado or Wyoming. Talk about a tough decision. This basically means we have two huge adventures coming up, Michael with his new job and Olivia and I back wherever the heck our new home will be. It is cray cray. How the heck are we supposed to decide where it is we will move?

Even though it may not sound like it, I am excited! We may finally be getting out of Utah!

Michael, the Geologist

Michael got a job as a geologist!!!!

The past two weeks have been CRAZY. Michael currently is working at UCCU and was contacted from a guy names Joe for a position Michael applied to in OCTOBER! Ya, October of last year, but it turns out that Joe works for a consulting firm called RPM Consulting that is based out of Denver. After a lot of back and forth, Michael went up to Grand Junction Colorado for an interview with Chris, another recruiter that works for the company. He drove up and back in a day and was offered the job on the spot. He will be a well-site geologist working the 3 pm-3 am shift. Training will start in the next few weeks and then he will start his two weeks on, one week off schedule. The first job is in North Dakota.

We just put a deposit down for a Honda Element for him to drive.

We are in the process of getting all of his manly gear. That stuff 'spensive!

He has put is two weeks in at UCCU.

As you can tell, we have a lot of CHANGE going on. Change scares the poo out of me, and so I have been having a lot of moments of fear rather than excitement and gratitude for this great opportunity for Michael and our family.

Heavenly Father is so kind and mindful. He blesses us with things we couldn't even imagine. This job is an answer to prayers and such a needed boost. I can't wait to see where it takes us!
